First words Experience Late Talking

Hello,
very excited to share little one has recently developed a range of words that they’re using in context as well as a few signs and a host of symbolic words like animal noises, vehicle noises (nee nor, beep beep), environmental noises (tic toc).

Turned 3 in September. Recently started nursery and had surgery to remove enlarged adenoids. Some sensory seeking and social interaction delays/differences.

I guess I’d be interested to know people’s experiences at this stage, not a question as such. But I’ve spent so long working on attention etc that now we have words I can’t quite believe it.

Any similar experiences? Advice? Thank you

Thank you Lexie. Very kind of you to reply. Yes, it feels very surreal though. I hope you are doing okay, it’s a lonely road isn’t it? I hope you and your boy are doing okay 🙂. This has all come quite out of the blue to be honest! X
