I've always found SALT interventions have had limited impact on my now 7 yo autistic ds but I came across a book called Language for thinking and wondered if anyone had used it? There are other books about increasing vocabulary by the same authors. There is Talkability by Hanen too?
DS speech is absolutely fine for communicating wants and needs and telling us certain things about his day but he struggles to understand/access a lot of what he is learning at school and I'm trying to think of ways I can help
