Cerebral Palsy/Development Delays

Hello. I'm looking for some advice regarding my 11 month old. She is still unable to sit independently or crawl. She rolls both ways, onto her tummy and back again.. She has recently started to push off her legs and stand whilst being held.

I've googled and I am terrified as the symptoms could be cerebral palsy. Had anyone been in this position and could let me know their outcome.

I have been in touch with doctors and health visitors, they have said she has good muscle tone and holds her head really well but were unsure what to do next.

Any help much appreciated ♥️

Has the GP/HV referred to physio, OT and paeds? If not, request they do. You may even be able to self refer to physio and OT. Portage too if they exist in your area.

If you are anywhere near Ingfield Manor School in West Sussex or Paces in Sheffield, they offer free sessions for young children. There are other places who offer sessions as well, some free, some charge, but I can’t remember them off the top of my head.
