DLA and needs

My child has been receiving dla due to his needs. Renewal is soon, he has moved school 2 weeks ago and seems to be doing much better in this school. However once medication has worn of and he is home he is still alot in the evenings and weekends. Would he still be entitled to dla if he's doing better at school? The care needs are the same as they were when we first applied at home. If not worse. Thank you. I do have reports from the nurses, a referral form that went in from ot to camhs and Ed physc report. Diagnosis letter etc. There is still evidence he is just doing better in this new school.

Yes for definite make sure you apply, DLA is based on needs and how they are affected day to day.

Complete the renewal. DC can still be eligible for DLA even if they are doing well in school. And it’s only been 2 weeks - you could still be in the honeymoon period.
