It's so hard

What a morning. Day didn't start well as I overslept, in reality what followed was my fault and I should have just kept DS home
Stupidly though I woke DS up which took ages, he refused all breakfast, eventually he ate half a bagel (standard for him) and then I tried to get him dressed.
Put on his school polo shirt and he screamed, trying to get it off. As he's non verbal no Idea what was wrong but took it off to check, nothing. Tried to put it back on and he had a huge meltdown unit I just put a different top on.
Finished getting him dressed, he then kicked me in the face while I was putting his shoes on.
I took him to school where he ran in happily. The breakfast issue was my fault for rushing him but the meltdown and kicking me in the face was so unusual .
Sorry just a tough morning and stressed out mum.

Sending love ❤️ It is hard, I understand. But don't place blame on yourself. You're doing your best, it's all any of us can do, none of us are perfect. He went into school happy so that's a win in my book. Hope your day got better xx
