Hi there, please can any of you help? My son’s DLA ended today, I sent in the renewal form 6 weeks ago and received a letter today saying it can take up to 15 weeks for the decision. And an additional letter that says what he’s entitled to from 16/05/2022 - 05/09/2024. I’m not sure why they’ve sent a letter saying that as that was his previous award until it ended today. They’ve put he will get middle rate care from 16/05/2022 - 05/09/2024 (which is what he was awarded last time) and lower rate mobility from 16/05/2022 - 05/09/2024 (but he was on higher rate mobility last time ?) it doesn’t say anything about the renewal. I’m really confused. Sorry if this message makes no sense, just a bit stressed out with it. Many thanks for reading and I’d be so grateful if anyone can help
