DLA renewal

Hi, I applied for DLA fory son last Oct and got the acceptance in April with a back payment to last Oct. The letter stated that they would contact me in time for the renewal and I wouldn't need to contact them. I haven't heard anything from them yet and as this is my first time renewing I'm just wondering when I'd get the letter/ form? Thanks

When you get the forms will depend on how long DLA award is for.

Thanks. I took it for granted that it was for a year. I'd better check the letter again.

Do check because many are not for a year. More likely than not it is for longer.
