UC back payment for DLA

Hi everyone, my daughter was awarded DLA in June, I updated UC on the journwl and am receiving the adjusted monthly amount, but I still haven't received the back dated payment from February to June, has anyone had any experience of this and what the rough timescale is ? TIA

give them a call and ask for a case manager to have a look at it

They said its with a decision maker to decide if I can get it back dated and that there is no way I can contact the DM and that there is no timescale they can offer me

Make a complaint to uc and it will get looked at in a day or two and back pay sent

https://makeacomplaint.dwp.gov.uk/ You just need to say that you’ve been waiting for a long time and it hasn’t been dealt with yet then the complaints term will get it sorted

Unfortunately there’s no set timescale. It is a case of how long is a piece of string. Making a complaint doesn’t guarantee it being sorted in a day or two, I’m afraid.

I update UC on 12 July, on 22 they write a message they send to decision maker. I asked for update after 2 weeks and the answer is when decision is make will be on my journal.
And they put me on UC claim review ,😡so need send photos in my window ,holding my passport and many more documents

I’m having same issue, change made 05/07 then nothing until 19/07 which was message saying it’s being sent to decision maker no update since 🤷🏻‍♀️

Definitely worth raising a complaint, I got this back from them earlier, I'm so glad I pursued it
