Same scan date as me hun 15/3 am thinking the exact same not put enough info down it’s just a long process isn’t it think it’s worse know we’re getting close to the date good luck xx

@Lion10 they sent the request for back pay on the 7th on June and paid today 😁

Same here. Scan date 08/03. 16 weeks Friday. Not even with a decision maker, said to call back in 2 weeks if not heard anything. Said he put it in the queue with first on it, whatever that means. Nice guy though, not unfriendly or rude.

😂 they come up with so much rubbish! I asked for text decision yesterday and was told they all will send out a text when the decision is made, I know that’s not true, but the long way they seem to tell your rates when you’ve been awarded but not the short way

As if the wait for DLA to make a decision wasn't hard enough, UC have no care either lol. Anyone know how long it takes for UC to verify my sons DLA and add the disabled child element 😵‍💫🤣

I changed mine on 7th then on the 10th they said it was sent to specialist dm, I’m guessing that’s when it was verified because they verify it before it being sent to dm, the elements will be on the next award but I’m still waiting for backpay decision

You’ve got me wanting to call now 😂 I asked them yesterday to text me when a decision has been made, but I know there not reliable with the texts, I’m probably going to call in the morning a decision should have been made by then 🤞 if I can stop myself from calling today. What sort of time did you call on Thursday? I’m wondering if your before me in the queue, I called about 1ish

It was around 4:20 when i eventually got through, they did say every time someone else gets added to that list, that then becomes a long list too but happy its finally moved from the holding pile! I'm 16 weeks today and like i say it went to a DM yesterday, how long that then takes is beyond me but i will keep you updated if i hear anything with you being similar times to me

Hi my scan date is 28/03 I was told Friday my claim was being looked at but couldn’t tell me if it was with a DM

Just to let people know, I was told i would get a text when a decision was made, i did not get a text i called to find out.
Mine went to a DM on 19/6, decision made 24/06.

Everything takes so long with DLA and UC especially when it comes to them owing us money, but soon as we owe them money, a payment plan is set up in seconds lol. Hope you hear back from them soon with a decision

yes! SD 28.03 got awarded yesterday. Went to DM that day too so was very quick! Still waiting for other son SD 13.03
