SD-6/3 rang at dinner time still with a decision maker was rude on phone after I said it’s been a month with a decision maker now so I don’t get why it’s still there but he said it’ll be July by time I hear anything 😩just want to know what’s what having to pull my son out of school as they can’t facilitate his needs any longer it’s just annoying the waiting

Just called again and spoke to a lovely woman that said it has been a long time to still be waiting so she's going to email the dm and give them a nudge.
Not sure what that means or if it will help but we live in hope lol

Was this a priority claim?

Does anyone know if I could be put priority as my sons renewal claim is due to end soon and 1 week before that I have to change over to uc from tax credits so I’ll lose the dla, severe child element and carers aswell if it’s not done in time which will put me under financial strain x

@Crazyhouse4 I haven't received it yet, just the letter today. Was told on the phone last Wednesday that if back pay wasn't in my account Friday it would be today, but here we are still waiting ha hopefully be this week sometime x

Congrats my youngest has adhd was finally diagnosed in March at 7
Took even longer with my eldest she was first flagged up at 4/5 diognosed at 8 but didn't apply till she was 9(now 16 and swapped to pip)
My sd is 22/3 called last week and no news 😬

This happened to me with my daughter claim in Feb said be in bank in morning rang on Monday went in Wednesday now here we are waiting again although they seem quicker this time. Round

Been lurking since last week, was feeling hopeful as SD 14/3, but just been told its now taking 20 weeks and will be another 6 weeks! 😣
I received a letter saying up to 15 weeks a while back and had nothing since amending that, but looks like it's gonna be an even longer wait for us. We're in the south east, don't know if that makes a difference. Hope everyone else gets better news this week!

assessment takes so long! We’ve been told 2-3 years! We’ve known since very young but school flagged it to me last year. To be honest he’s so well behaved it’s just the energy, sitting with him for hours before bed… and endless after school clubs he needs! Fingers crossed for you. I’m still waiting for my youngest who need a lot more care (ASD) his scan date is before my eldest which is odd! Good luck! 🥰🤞🏼

My back pay to scan date is going in tomorrow 25/6/24 then first payment is due to go in 23/7/24 and so on x

Hi everyone. I called today as it’s been over 16 weeks (SD 28/02). I asked on the progress and they said it’s with the claims team currently. I asked if that meant it’s with a decision maker and he said it’s with the claims team so a decision could be made any day now. So does that mean it is with a decision maker?
he still said to allow up to 20 weeks 🙄 ridiculous wait time. And I asked if I’d receive a text once a decision was made and he said it’d be a letter

Congrats! Was your claim a COC?

Yes , original scan date 15th June 2023 , got decision MRC only in Nov 2023 then did a COC on 04/03 , got decision on Friday 21/06 for HRC and LRM which will start in August when he turns 5 . I am happy with this decision now , was hoping for HRM but he probably doesn't fit the criteria.

@Accbabymom1994 when you say you was hoping for hrm what criteria did you think he met and did you submit evidence x

If anyone on hear has had a decision, how long was it with the DM before you got the award? I’ve heard it can take up to 2 weeks- also seen a few people saying it’s been with the DM for longer 😕

Mine has been with the DM for ten days so far. Have a good feeling about this week though so fingers crossed
