but today 2 people came from the housing association and fitted 2 handrails on either side of the back door to help dd get in and out of it.
last year we asked for them with a ramp as she has hemiplegia, they said no we will build a bigger step, (they built 2) and promised to come back and fit the handrails.
with so much going on with ds and various tribunals i was phoning them every few weeks but last week i thought ive had enough now, so i phoned social services on friday and yesterday they phoned and said they were coming out today.
AND i got a call from an OT (i nearly fainted) on my answerphone who wants to speak to us about dd,s mobility problems.
ive been mithering them as well for the last couple of years, maybe just maybe we might get some help/advice now.
