My kid with ASD mastered riding a bike today!!!!!
He is under sensitive to vestibular and proprioceptive sensation so balance and coordination have always been an issue for him. He managed 3 laps of the car park before he was exhausted from the intense concentration.
It's taken him a few years longer than his NT friends but he's finally nailed it! I'm just so effing proud of him!!! 🥹
