Family complete

When did u decide your family was complete? I have 2 boys , my youngest is SEN , he has Agenisis of the corpus collosum and its been really hard . He has an older brother who is 9 and he is 4.5 himself. I feel like I should stop and that bringing another child would be selfish. I wish to have a daughter but I feel like it will be unfair on the baby and my 2 existing children. Because my son is more independent in a lot of stuff now but he still needs a lot of attention. So unless we have an accident (which is highly unlikely because of our non existent s** life) we are done . What about my fellow SEN mom's? Do you feel like you are done ?
Also if anyone had a child after a SEN child please share your experience.

Hi Op

I have 3 children, my eldest son (10) is disabled and my middle daughter who’s 3.5 we are waiting on an assessment for autism and she has additional needs, my youngest son who’s 2 soon isn’t disabled that I know of and I too would like to expand our family.

I would like another baby, but I am going to wait until my daughter is a little bit older and see how we are. If things are extremely difficult we will leave it at 3 children.

having my youngest so close in age to my middle child has been a challenge in many ways but also very rewarding and I wouldn’t change it for the world having another baby when I have 2 children with additional needs.

I'm so broody and tempted sometimes it's upsetting .

It is upsetting and frustrating, I do get that as I feel the same sometimes but it’s just waiting and seeing how things are.

I know it’s an adjustment having another baby at the best of times especially in circumstances like these but it can work out and can be rewarding.

hope you manage to come to a decision that works best for you and your family x

My husband is adamant we are done . He's not much help when they are babies so I would not count on him helping out

That makes things so much harder OP I’m sorry to hear that, any way you could try and speak with him and make a plan ?

I want to pass my driving test so I don't rely on him as much . X
