Mediation certificate now what?

I've lodged an appeal against my daughters school placement, it's due for September, I've just received certificate but I'm not really sure what I need to do now

When you say you have lodged an appeal do you mean you have actually submitted a section I only appeal to SENDIST (for which a mediation certificate isn’t required) and the hearing is scheduled for September?

If you haven’t already submitted an appeal need to complete a SEND35 form and send the mediation certificate along with the other paperwork required to SENDIST. You should consider appealing B&F too (for which a mediation certificate is required) because the placement named in section I is the logical conclusion of B&F.

Yeah I've appealed section I b&q and I've just recieved a copy of my mediation certificate. Her case is going back to panel on Tuesday anyway to hopefully change mainstream to specialist. If that happens Tuesday I won't need to go to tribunal

Do you mean you have appealed section B&F as well as I, rather than b&q?

If so, how did you submit to SENDIST without having the mediation certificate first?

If you have already submitted the SEND35 form you must only be appealing section I because you wouldn’t have been able to register an appeal for B&F as well without the mediation certificate. Therefore you don’t need to do anything with the mediation certificate now.

What are section B&F like?
