Hello,

my family are all effected by the ongoing whooping cough issue in Lincs. The problem is my daughter, 3.5yr old, has ASC and ARFID. Will not tolerate the meds and after trying the 3rd and final type of antibiotics they’re telling us she needs to isolate for 21days, which means I’m going to lose nearly a months salary for unpaid parental leave and I’m stressing.

we’ve tried everything to get them in her and she just vomits it straight back up. Has anyone found a solution to this?

side note- we’re all fully vaccinated it’s all the antivaxers that have caused this outbreak

thanks

Have you tried slowly syringing it into the gum at the back of the mouth between DD’s cheek and teeth? If you syringe slowly enough in the right area it can’t be spat out.

Not sure what type you have but we mix ours in with a chocolate milkshake to hide the flavour

She won’t take milkshake it’s not a safe food, sadly. Only drinks water and she knows we’ve tried it in that
