Moving house, same school - ehcp?

Hi everyone, new here. Just a quick question. My son is year 9, EHCP. We are currently in Borough A & he receives funding via his EHC. Now say we move to borough B, but he still attends the school in borough A... will the council in borough A be funny or restrict funding because he's no longer classed as a borough A child?

Hope this makes sense, thanks.

If you move out of LA A they won’t be funding the EHCP. If you move to LA B, they will become responsible for the EHCP. However, LA B will review the EHCP and potentially amend, reassess or propose to cease to maintain - although you will have the right of appeal.

Thank you very much for clarifying. Looks like I am staying put for another couple of years then because I cant risk it.
