@Fee89 im praying my daughter gets awarded this time round i dont think my nevers can take the tribunal route and waiting evan longer my cousin had to and all in all from phoneing for the form to end off tribunal 69 weeks 🤦‍♀️

Thank you, yes he does have a TA but she was assigned after I’d sent the forms. I’ve sent an additional statement of evidence to DLA and I’ve added her contact details on to that too.
at my meeting on Monday I plan to say that I feel really unsupported and if there’s no change then I’ll be taking it further. He needs support and the attitude of some teachers in his school is disgusting to be honest. The school keep saying they’ve got staffing issues as lots of staff are off sick and have left but that’s not the children’s problem, they should be supported either way. I’m glad when someone works to support SEN children that understands the difficulties.!Makes all the difference. X

Same, I joined a dla Facebook group and by the evening I left it. My anxiety couldn’t take it. Seeing the things people get declined for was awful. And it made me think about it more, and the dates closer to mine and I was like 🤮 I’m 4 weeks behind you guys

Hi ladies, long time lurker here. Just called dla the 512 way and I got through straightaway. I was asked absolutley everything on security. I was even starting to doubt my own name 🤣 Scan date 10/1. Haven't received a text yet. So the lady I spoke to was soooo confusing. She told me my claim is being looked at but said she wasn't allowed to confirm if it was with a dm or not. Isn't that the same thing?? Then told me when it would be backdated to and that I should expect to receive a payment next week but no decision has been made though??? I'm not holding out hope because I know the lies some of them tell sometimes.

I hope today is full of good news for the rest of you x

It’s seems like she’s subtly trying to say a decision has been made but isn’t sure if she can actually say it or not. Weird but I would take that’s as good news😂

Yes! You said that they are dealing with 04/05 Jan and straight way I'm thinking ohh no I haven't heard anything so it must be declined. You question and overthink everything again and again. Thank you ever so much for keeping me updated 💕

Yep! I think it will only get worse next week especially as we will be 16weeks x

16 week and 2 days, just had a consultation letter that backs up a written statement I sent 3 week ago. Do I send it in or will it be too late??? 😬😬

I had a text just as I was calling them, they gave me the direct CM number.
She was lovely, said thanks for ALL the evidence I sent and just asked me about the nights as most docs were from school and didn’t have info about that.
We should have the decision today but seemed quite positive. I have been crying since I talked to her, though, it’s bittersweet knowing that you are entitled to that help because his life is so, so hard and it’s not ever getting better.
Anyway… it has been 14 weeks exactly from scan date but it was a CoC, not sure if that helps. I feel drained.

Did you call the long way? The short way they don’t seem to be able to tell you all the information

Can I ask what the mobile number ended in? I had a missed call from a mobile number yesterday, I didn't think they called from a mobile? Got me panicked now 😬
