DLA Wait Time Chat

Ugh having a very stressful morning...
Fed up with all the waiting times atm, wait times for nhs, dla etc
Does anyone know what approx date they have seen Dla done in jan? My scan date is 17/01 and don't want to call and be told 20 weeks again

@Jadexxx92 thank you hun! Just rang now, she said no decision yet but its on the DM's desk..... but its not a decline yet so we're still in the game lol

I bet they have just opened it this morning, that will be done by end of today 🙏 I rang in the morning wasn't even open with DM then was done by 3pm 🤣 x

My scan date is 09/01. Had one letter and nothing else. Called today for update. They said they have all information and is with DM should hear by first week in May.

I'm really hoping so, they seem to be cracking on with December now. Can't call this afternoon, I can't even bear the thought of sitting on hold for that long with the risk of getting cut off. I'll join the 9am gang again tomorrow.lol.

I hate how they say whatever bullshit. Iv just called. Got told last week its with d.m. The guy i spoke with checked the whole file and said nope its def still in holding pile 😡. Said its taking 14-15 weeks to go d.m. He's put note on saying to text me with outcome 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡.

I had the same. It was with a DM, then it wasn't, then it was and now it isn't again. I called yesterday and I'll call again tomorrow xx

I had this last week, apparently from Friday until Tues it was on DM desk, Kim informed me weds it was in a holding pile, Thus its back on DM desk again! It's ridiculous at least if they're going to lie to us all come to with a line and all say the same line. I swear they do it for shits and giggles 😜

@Anxiouslywaitingmum @Leopardprintleelan With you both (spesh lyin Kim) i think they dont bother actually looking into your files. They say no because its easier to get you off the phone. When infact it annoys more which means we call more 🤦🏻‍♀️. I 1000% think dla/pip need to move on with the times and have it online so we can track our own claims xx

Couldn't agree more. There would be no need to call of it was online and we could track the progress! Upload and new information etc x

Sorry to hear you are having a shit morning. I hope it gets better. Yeah early Jan, upto 5th i have seen with outcomes. Stay positive x

I just got through in 20 minutes!! Nearly died of shock. Although wasn't very helpful just said its still being looked at. I asked if was with a DM and he said the 'whole claim can take up to 20 week, the claim is still open' 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ so no further but at least I know its not a no, yet

I just got through in 20 min so hopefully not too long
