I've been considering seeking assessment for dd10 for a long while as I suspect she has inattentive ADHD. She's always had some traits of ASD as well but I thought not enough to seek diagnosis. However now I'm looking into assessment it seems as though adhd can mask asd symptoms and vice versa so I think it might be worth getting both assessed at the same time.
Can anyone recommend anywhere? We are in London. I was hoping to find an assessment that will also do a WISC test so we can understand how she learns etc too, whether she has ADHD or not. She's always been a (reluctant) high achiever at school but this has dropped off a cliff in y4 and y5, I think she has totally checked out and thought this aspect of the assessment could be useful for school too.
In case it's relevant, I think she's a very effective masker. Teachers don't notice anything except "doesn't always focus" and think she's quiet and studious; SENCO agreed she is masking in class.
Thanks in advance
