Help! I need a booster seat suitable for a large 6 year old uable to sit unaided

DS has CP and cant sit unaided. He has all the general parafanalia that we use to help him sit - but its all heavy and cant be taken away for weekends or holidays. Its also not practical to wheel his buggy with its dirty wheels into someone's house so he can eat in it. What we really would like is a big booster seat (he has outgrown the toddler booster seats) that we can take away with us. Does anyone have any suggestions. Ideally it should have a full harness and a pommel as he wriggles and slips out of most belts and non pommelled seats!

Have comtemplated making my own but dont need the hassle and havent the energy!

Sorry i dont have any ideas apart from contacting the hospital and asking them if they know of anywhere that makes them. The must be a specialist company surely. Have you googled it. Thought id leave a message to bump it for you.

Try REMAP (I think that's them - I'll google it) here!!

They are great & very inventive plus they may have made one before

Thank you both. I have googled it without much success. Have just looked at REMAP - will email them straight away! Fingers crossed. Thanks

What about the portable seats they use for disabled passengers on aircraft seats.
I think they are a rigid inflatable material & mold around the person, giving support.
