Disability buggy and newborn buggy/pushchair

Hi all,

I am sure someone may have experienced issues were going through! I wondered if anyone can recommend either an add-on pushchair or buggy for a newborn or a complete system that would cater for a 4 year old disabled child and a newborn (9 weeks at time of writing )

We have a Hoggi Bingo disability chair for 4y/o. The only option I can find is a second hand buggypod which living in a village with very narrow pathways would not work for us and baby is much too young at the moment even if we could work with it.

We've used the carrier for baby up until now but I'm due to have surgery which involves no lifting for a considerable amount of time.

Is there a newborn/disability chair out there?

None of them are cheap, but the ones I know which are suitable from newborn are Activate for Kids’ tandem buggy, Activate for Kids’ Corgi Sprint wheelchair with tandem attachment and Patron’s tandem buggy.

There are some others where an SN seat can be added to an ordinary frame and a baby car seat attachment added too. I can’t remember them off the top of my head other than for some a Phil & Teds frame is used. It might be worth speaking to NewLife and Whizz Kidz. It is probably not quick enough for you but wheelchair services can sometimes help too.
