We have been on the waiting list for a year and had a 'triage'(? sounds like something they used to do in Casualty) appointment last December. I don't know how much time we will get but I know his 1-1 at nursery would love to get some more informed opinion about speech development. Of course I don't know if the SALT will be familiar with ASD issues but I will keep optimistic. We also have a referral to the autism unit at the local children's hospital to get therapy there.
