AbiliSki Holiday

Hi All,

Its been ages since I posted on here. I have a severely disabled 11 year old, he is non-verbal and a wheelchair user. I would really like to take him and his older brother skiing. However I have never been able to find somewhere I can get a good AbiliSki option for my younger son. Ideally I would like lessons for myself and my husband (I haven't skied since before the 13 year old was born so definitely need lessons) with a separate (probably) instructor AbiliSkiing with the 11 year old. Then ski school for the 13 year old. Accommodation would need to be level access (a hoist is not necessary as he can do active transfers - but would be desirable). Ideally we'd like ski in/ski out as I think it would be right faff to be lugging about all of our kit, the 11 years olds kit and push the wheelchair. (I know I'm asking for the world). Does anyone have any good recommendations for places that worked well with good abiliski instructors?

Thanks a Million,
Sioba.

I don’t have a personal recommendation, but Crystal Ski may be able to help.

DS1 wouldn’t cope with that type of holiday but he manages adaptive skiing sessions at indoor centres here and I remember someone saying Crystal Ski had helped them.
