Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

It has to be, doesn't it?

An 18-month-old who doesn't sleep, walk, stand, or talk (no babble or words), only recently learned to crawl (weeks ago). Not interested in solids, can't feed themselves, licks everything, tongue constantly out. Is virtually silent. Investigations taking forever. Doesn't seem to be anything genetic so far. Could it be SN, right? Does this sound similar to anyone's experience?

It sounds like there could be some additional needs, yes. Are you receiving any support?

How is the communication even if not in words ? How is shared attention ? Will he/she look at what you are looking at ? Share eye contact ? Share interest in someone comes into the room ? How are the play skills ? Age appropriate or still mouthing toys like a baby ?
