Mild CP or simply tiptoe walking?!

Hi, I am hoping to get some input while waiting for a follow up appointment in 6 weeks for DD (Now 21 months) She recently had an appointment to see how she was progressing due to being born premature (31+5)

At the appointment the doctor said she was very happy with how DD was progressing (happy with interactions and words etc) and that her only concern was that she was not yet walking unaided and that she walks on her tiptoes. (She takes steps if we were hold her hands) We did actually raise this issue ourselves with the physio about 1 month previous and she stated that her left foot/calf was a bit tight but wanted to see what the doctor thought. (Right foot started out the same way but is now mostly flat when standing/cruising)

DD has been doing this since around mid October and improvements are gradual, she is trying to stand by herself more recently and doing so with less support. Her primary method of getting about is on her knees upright and does so very quickly. Likewise when she crawls, she could move faster than I could. All of her fine motor skills are good and there seems to be no obvious difference from one side to the other on her upper or lower half.

Has anyone ever had something similar to this which worked itself out with time? The doctor advised that it could be a mild form of CP hence the follow up appointment to see if exercises and encouragement to flatten the foot makes a difference. She believes time will help assess the situation.

We have never noticed any other issues and from time to time we do see her standing and the left foot will be flat and not causing her any problems (however this would tend to be when wearing shoes)

The doctor has advised that we don't allow her to walk if it is going to be on her tiptoes, but this can be so difficult to do as she loves standing and making her way round furniture etc.

For now we are:
*Trying our best to flatten her feet when she stands
*Doing the stretching exercises provided to us although a lot of the time this can be when DD sleeps as she is so stubborn
*Not actively walking with her

Not sure what other info to provide that may be useful. IIRC she was sitting up around 9 months actual and crawling around 12/13 months.
