14 Yr old son, autism, mild ID. He is so abusive at times at home. I'm wrecked, exhausted, worn out sitting here with a burst lip and bruises all over.
How do I move on after this. Where can I go for help? Disability services offer me nothing.
Dh is rubbish. He just escalates the situations more.
Any advice appreciated.

You say disability services offer you nothing, but have you had social care assessments? A carer’s assessment for you and an assessment via the disabled children’s team for DS.
Depending on DS’s specific needs, continuing care funding may be an option to look at.

Is DS under any professionals? Does he take medication? Has he had a home OT assessment?

Does DS have an EHCP? If so, what support is currently in there? You should request an early review. If he doesn’t already have one, you should request an EHCNA.

Some people find Yvonne Newbold’s resources and Ross Greene’s book The Explosive Child helpful.
