Just wondering how others found this process? Was it quick and easy or lengthy to get a grant? I’m finding it quite stressful

I have supported others with applications. I don’t find it particularly onerous, but it isn’t quick. Which part are you finding stressful?

The initial online application took me quite a while but it was for 2 dc. Then I needed to send additional info then more and now I have to have a teams call of up to 1 hour and it feels almost like doing a dla form !

I think it’s just that thing where having disabled dc you’re tired anyway, plus appts plus you get yourself ready for the dla applications and it’s stressful and I didn’t think this would trigger off those same feelings, I know they have to have an eligibility assessment etc but I didnt think it would be so intense

I think that sounds within the typical experience, unfortunately. Not just for Family Fund, but for many charity grants.

It’s understandable I think I’m just mentally exhausted!

And how you are feeling is also totally understandable.
