Hi, Does anyone know of any good autism friendly schools in East/North East London, Redbridge, or Essex?
I need to find a good school for my 3 year old ds with autism.
Please tell me about your experiences good or bad, or if you have heard anything good about any school in particular. My ds is verbal, but only with 1-word phrases, and has limited comprehension.
TIA

Treetops is in Central London, but wow if you could get him in there, I think it is one of the best schools for ASD kids out there (it uses ABA techniques, which have worked v well for my boy.) You would have a fight of course as it's out of borough, but I would move house just to get there. Maybe there are ABA schools nearer to you though?

Sorry but I got the school's name wrong - it's Treehouse, and it is based in North London. If you can, it is worth a look. Our friends have a son there and it is fab.
