My child got their autism assessment a few months ago. I have a follow up appointment with a nurse tomorrow and just wondered whether anyone could suggest anything I should be discussing with them? Is the follow up just to discuss the diagnosis or will they be able to offer any support? Thanks for any help Smile

Whether ongoing support is provided or not depends on your area. If you want/need referrals to OT/SALT ask about that, although in some areas you can self refer. If you want to discuss medication for sleep ask about that. You could ask about local groups/support, too.

Thanks that's helpful. My son does have problems sleeping so I will note this down. Local groups would be useful as well.

Melatonin for DD has made a huge change for us.

Now DD gets more sleep she's able to self regulate a little more in the day.
