Would you use a SEN book subscription?

Hi fellow SEN parents 😊

Last night I was reading with one of my no ND kiddos and thought, "autistic kiddo has no books he enjoys".
So I thought about what he would enjoy, characters with autism who also lose their shit at loud noises, scratchy clothes, the wrong textured food. Or characters that like watching mental shite on YouTube, 90s adverts on repeat or hoarding sensory toys, you get the idea.

There's a few of these books around, but not as many as I'd have hoped.
(We tend to read with him on his terms but he doesn't really enjoy things such as Julia Donaldson etc, but he's liked a few books over the years.)

I was thinking if someone with knowledge, skill, time, resources could be located to help me arrange such a thing (or indeed just simply steal this idea, I'll even tell you what I'd want to call it, "my diverse universe", and just start with Ebooks etc, would you as an SEN parent use a service like this?
It might even encourage more authors to do books for SEN kids.

I'm sure there's someone who might be interested in doing it for the kiddos, it's just seeing if parents would think it would benefit their DC.

Anyway if you think it's a good idea then let me know, if you think it's a waste of time and I'm just daydreaming bollocks again, that feedback is as equally as appreciated x

To be honest I'd prefer to visit the "my diverse universe" website where I can easily filter books by representation, genre and target reading/plot age, then read a paragraph book review for each highlighting the key features in an easily-comparable format, with a link through to Amazon (that makes the site a couple of pence per referral purchase).

One of the main filters should also be the ability to distinguish if this is an ND-viewpoint book, or a book about how hard life is as an NT child with a weird & demanding ND sibling....

@BestZebbie honestly that idea blows mine out the water.
Absolutely cracking idea!
