I have an assessment with a health visitor coming up for my 21 month old boy because does not answer to his name and only sometimes responds when prompted. He started talking before 12 months and could say around 10-20 words at 18 months but in the last month or 2 he seems to be saying less, only a few words. I'm now thinking about his behaviour too, and he's very hyperactive and seems to have periods where he's in a bit of a frenzy of excitement. I know all this can be normal but now I think I am overthinking everything he does so was hoping to get some reassurance from others that whatever the outcome it doesn't really matter as he is perfect how he is.
