All inclusive / resort style tips for ASD

Hi there - would like to book a holiday for autumn with DCs, including ASD DC (4yo). Would love any possibility of kids clubs / babysitting for a break but am realistic that that might not go too well unless very small groups. DC would not necessarily mind the change I think but needs constant watching otherwise it's dangerous with escaping and such, and also is non verbal which makes things difficult for a babysitter / supervisor I guess.

Any tips for destinations or specific hotels that have worked well?

In the UK my son has always loved center parcs. Being in the forest and access to the pool really calms him.

Abroad we have had success with both porto sani and peligoni club. Peligoni you basically book a local villa through them and have access to hotel style infrastructure in the club. Both have on site nannies and if you call in advance can have a chat about putting together a package of childcare with someone with SEN experience.

Thanks @KingsHeath53 ! Wow those resorts look amazing but with price tags to match! We could stretch if it was perfect but we’ve had a couple of spenny hols where we wished we had stayed home. But pretty tempted by these especially Sani…

We regularly visit Searles in Hunstanton (North Norfolk). They are family owned and welcome a lot of extended families so they are very accessible and there have often been disabled children there when we've visited. Our DD (now 10) has ADHD and ASC and we've visited regularly since she's been 4.

It has a safe toddler splash pool, two other pools, a little soft play, a playground and is by the beach.

It's fairly cheap too especially if you get on the mailing list and wait for a special offer!
