Just applied for a statutory assessment….what next?

I just applied online through the EA portal for a statutory assessment for my daughter as advised by her nursery head this morning.

DD is 4.5 and is strongly suspected to have ASD, she has just been referred for the ADOS assessment by her paediatrician.

Can anyone please tell me what to expect next, I’m not at all familiar with the process.

We aren’t in England so it’s a SA here not an EHCP.

It is worth looking at SENAC’s website more widely. It has lots of helpful information. They have an advice line, too.
