Neuro-developmental Therapy

Has anyone any experience of going down the Neuro-Developmental Therapy (eg. music/movement based neuroplasticity programmes) route to address behavioural/neurodiversity issues for their child? With the long wait for a CAMHS referral and the school and us keen to implement something to support our DS (12yrs), we are exploring the private route. We have had an initial assessment with The Key Clinic and have an initial phone call booked with Move2Connect next week, but it all feels a bit 'woo' to us at this stage and DH in particular is keen to have something concrete to move forward with.
Thanks in advance!

Hi - I have just seen your message as we too have been looking at The Key Clinic for our son (who has ADHD). I am a bit ambivalent about their approach, and also a bit skeptical about the high costs involved and the trips to a clinic/effort involved. I am thinking about medication for my son as the most pressing need for him is to be able to start focusing at school. Would be interested to hear how you are getting on.
