Autism in siblings

Hi Everyone,

Hoping for some advice, I am a mother of 2 children have ASD and wondering if anyone in a situation similar to me has gone on to have neurotypical children with the same father?

Not in my case. However autism is hereditary and in our case I realised it came from their dad/paternal side. We could have gone on to have 20 more kids and they’d all probably have been autistic.

I'm wondering about this same topic a lot. I have 2 with autism (younger DD not yet diagnosed) but we, the parents are NT.

I know some families from the internet with 2 asd DCs and 1 later born NT child. I've once seen a documentary about a family who kept having babies and after 4 asd DCs they had 3 NT ones. Crazy, isn't it?
