Need suggestions on replacement for breakfast cereals weetabix and shredded wheat.

My son is 4.3 years old and always been fussy eater. ASD & hyperactivity. He is verbal. we wanted to move him from his current highly gluten diet to Gluten free but slowly. we shifted to Goats milk and its been good no issues. But I wasnt successful when I tried too quickly changing his favourite weetabix and Shredded wheat to gluten free breakfast cereals. he eats 2 bricks of weetabix for breakfast and 2 bricks if shredded wheat before sleeping. in between its just snacks. I couldnt get him on family healthy meals. few days I tried to give choc buttons n lure him to eat boiled eggs n than tried to feed healthy by showing his favourite videos on youtube. thats not going well either.
He is skinny with dark hallow under eyes with frequent colds and being sick. I read in many books that going gluten free could help.

please suggest if anyone of you have been in my situation and what has worked for you. Thanks a lot.
I am trying to switch to gluten free oats he is eating few spoons n leaving. I am tired as I work full time and trying to cook meals.
