I'd like to donate a bit of money to a good charity for autism/autism research in the UK. Does anyone have a suggestion?

There is a wonderful charity called DaisyChain in the NorthEast of England. They are holding an appeal for people to buy bricks for their new centre. Details of charity and appeal on link:

How about Research Autism or Autism Speaks?

I would love to see more research funded into the links between autism and food allergies/intolerances. I think there must be a link as they so often seem to occur together (as with my son) but there is no hard evidence or recognised treatments.

Not sure who would undertake this though!

Thanks for supporting people with autism - who ever you choose! x
