Hi, would love to hear from anyone else with experience of this. Currently really struggling with DS (ASD, ID, Non Speaking). School & teacher are being pretty understanding but he's not done a full week since Christmas. He's been prescribed Zoton which used to help, but now does nothing. Trying to get a Pediatrician appointment, GPs have no other suggestions.
I think it started as behavioral but he's obviously loosened his stomach valve so any tiny physical issue sends it through the roof. Yesterday I'd say he did it about 15 times. Last month it was constipation, this week I think it's hayfever. I'm at a really low ebb & frankly its disgusting. I can't bring him anywhere. It's also definitely behavioral as it's his automatic exit strategy for anything he doesn't want to do
