I just needed to share my joy somewhere that others understand how hard we have to fight to get our kids the support they need!
The LA declined our SEN unit placement for reception, instead offering main stream with no LA funded support! I appealed this decision and to my complete surprise (I was ready for a long battle), we have won the appeal, and DS has got a place in the specialist unit!
I hope this gives hope for those still fighting for the right support!!
