DLA first renewal help

I had a letter this week as DLA is due for renewal. I thought it was next year 😩
Does anybody know if it’s a problem if there’s no updated reports or anything. I haven’t got anything new since I originally applied 2 years ago as he hasn’t had anymore assessments.
Will they accept old reports?

You don’t necessarily need updated reports. However, do you have up to date information about any support being provided at school e.g. IEPs &/or EHCPs?

The ehcp is also old. It was due for renewal in December/Jan but I’m still waiting.

If the LA has failed to hold an AR within 12 months of the previous AR email the Director of Children’s Services threatening judicial review. If that fails contact SOSSEN for help with a pre-action letter.
