My son is autistic and 9 years old. He was diagnosed 6 months ago. I didn't think about applying for DLA and it was a surprise when I realised that he might qualify. I'm now considering applying but don't really know much about it.
What do I need to consider? If he did get awarded it, it would help a lot with the various therapies we pay for every month and that would make a huge difference to us.
