Eotas

Hi,

I'd love to hear from parents who have an eotas package in place. What support is included in the package? We are currently looking at this as a last option but don't really understand what we can ask for.

EOTAS packages are all bespoke, so what is included will depend on individual needs. The possibilities are endless - tuition, therapies, care farm, forest school, outward bounds types provisions, music/drama lessons, sports, activities, cookery lessons, mindjam… You will need evidence though.

DS1’s package includes:
15 hours tuition
2 hours of OT
3 x 1 hour physio
1 hour each of clinical psychologist/play therapy, SIOT, SALT, ELSA, Lego therapy, rebound therapy, swimming (a mix of swimming, hydrotherapy and aquatherapy) and 1 hour of climbing or kayaking.
12 hours HLTA to cover 2:1 out of the house and act as an escort for travelling.

Budget for resources, activities, sundries.
Memberships and subscriptions
Equipment and assistive technology
Professional time for supervision/planning/meetings/reviews/oversight/report writing etc.
Travel costs

DS1 also has respite funded by social care.
