Are your ADHD sons affectionate?

Just that really, I sometimes find it hard to separate a personality trait from ADHD, my NT son (older) is very affectionate but not sure if that's just him. My other son, is not at all, he's very funny about people in his personal space and does not enjoy being cuddled!

Yes, DS (11) is super affection, still holds hand with us and cuddles a lot.

Yes but not if he’s irate about something. He will physically react and lash out, does not want touching at these times. But in calmer times he’s very affectionate and likes lots of hugs. My youngest is diagnosed ASD and is also affectionate. Sometimes he will ask for a hug and sometimes if I ask for one he will back up to me or offer me his head to kiss. It’s very obvious with both of them when they do not want to engage in physical touch. Definitely a sensory thing.
