Toddler Developmental delay

DS is 2yr 6 months old.
We have been referred to speech language therapy & is currently undergoing tests with paediatrician for developmental delay.
He wears splints on his ankles as his muscle is tight in his ankle which is delaying his walking.

He seems so bright, sociable & into everything but won't talk or walk.
I am beyond worried.

I guess I'm after a hand hold & advice from anyone in a similar situation.

He has had full bloods tests which have come back clear. MRI scan due this month.
Hearing tests all clear.

Hey
My son is 19mths old and also has developmental delay. He doesn’t speak, crawl, stand etc. Like yours, he’s super social and interested in everything!

His motor skills have developed hugely from having conductive education through a local charity. We’re still waiting on genetics and an MRI though. Do they have any ideas what’s causing the delay?

No clue yet with delay as so far tests are coming back fine.
We have MRI scan this month.
We work full time so don't receive any help with nursery fees but all I seem to get is 'oh that's a shame he doesn't go to nursery'.
