Thanks to those who suggested I write to the MP. I received a copy today of a letter than she has written to head of Children's Services and she's really gone for it! Not only asked why the LEA have been so sh1t with the whole statementing process for the last 3.5 years, but also why his staff don't bother to reply to phone calls or letters and why they are putting extra pressure onto someone who is already dealing with a child with complex needs by not meeting his needs!
I wonder what they'll think of that. As I recall, it was the letter from my previous MP, as well as the SENDIST appeal re: refusal to assess that got the ball rolling last time...hey presto, 23 hours back then.
Let's see if this makes them top it up to the amount he NEEDS.
