Flying with ADHD Meds

We've only just been prescribed ADHD meds for our DS (eausym xl 20 mG) and we are going on holiday to Spain for a week oj Saturday - I'm really confused about what I need to do to be able to travel with them! Has anyone done similar recently?

Not really recently but never had a problem keeping them in hand luggage in the box and bottle.
I think going to USA one time we had a letter from the dr confirming DC took the named prescription medication & to Greece we took the repeat prescription slip. It has never been a problem but I think they do like a letter if it’s a controlled drug.
