Hi - just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the Shared Agreement process between a private practice and GP.
My daughter was diagnosed privately with ADHD in January and the Shared Agreement was issued to the GP in June.
The GP has referred this request to CAHMS with a wait list of 3years! The private consultant left unexpectedly and suddenly with health problems and I now can’t get access to her medication.
the private practice which has all but shut up shop as a result says that the agreement is between the practice and the GP and there is no need to go down the CAMHS route. Can anyone else confirm this? Is this unusual for a GP to do this?
I’m loathe to go to a new private practice and pay all over again which was a stretch the first time round.
Thanks for any help and advice….
