Struggling with a present for tomorrow! Help

Hi all, my SN daughter has been very kindly invited to a classmates (not SN) 9th birthday tomorrow! As DD is my first born, I'm really struggling with what to get her for her birthday. Would it be acceptable to pop some money in a card or let DD choose something? I don't know the parents so I can't ask them, help

Choosing a suitble gift for a child you don't know at such short notice is very difficult. Put £5 or a £10 note in with the child's card and give it to the parent to open, so the money doesn't get lost.
