My Dd10 has ASD. We have the usual meltdowns but there are usually reasons for this. However, she has started randomly hitting and hurting me. She uses her elbows to jab or she'll slap me hard. We were having a lovely time watching tv together last night and she seemed happy then out of the blue she jabbed me really hard with her elbow. I don't know how I should react in these situations. Any advice??
