My dc has been diagnosed with ASD & psychologist told us most likely ADD but he's too young just yet for a formal diagnosis.
He's very well behaved in school but attention,focus & maintaining concentration is the big issue.
Nobody yet has mentioned giving him Ritalin but I've come across it online in relation to ADHD.
My question is for those who gave it to your child, how did it help with school work?
Did it help them concentrate for longer periods without teacher having to remind them to finish work?
My son doesn't have the hyperactivity aspect so it is not needed for that so I would like to hear from parents who mainly gave it to help with focus & attention.
